Today at the NICU

Hi to all...

Today was a good day, same series of ups and downs but our children are holding their own the best they can. All 3 had repeat heart ultrasounds(done weekly) results will be in at tomorrows rounds. Anna loves to eat and is currently eating the most! Katie is not eating again quite yet due to having medicine to close her heart murmur but has managed to stay above her birth weight. Nicholas is doing well with feeds although he has missed a couple today due to ups and downs on the ventilator-all very common for their situation.

We are also not at the Ronald McDonald house but staying with my cousin Gretchin and her husband Mark in Waterbury VT. Just a short drive to the hospital and very comfortable, also nice to have family and familiar faces after long emotional days. They are wonderful to take us in for a while and we are so greatful for that!!!

Well I again hope all is well with everyone and we miss you all. Thanks again for all the comments we look forward to reading them every night when we get back from the hospital.
Hope to update tomorrow, enjoy the new pics! Be well and God bless.

Love,
Sarah, Louie, Anna, Katie, and Nicholas

Upon hearing you're at M & G's my whole heart leapt with joy and felt such relief. It is so good to know you are with such loving people! This will be a real test of the family/fish urban legend! The new photos are amazing. Sarah, you look beautiful, and Nick's got big, strong shoulders! Louie is such a proud looking Dad. Sue and I would like to come over and visit at Gretch's house someday before the 14th (10th?) if we are allowed. I am gong to be pretty-much gone for six weeks after the 14th and would like to see you two.
Thanks for keeping us posted. Love you, Uncle Frank and Aunt Sue.

How precious your little ones are. My thoughts are with you and your family during this time. My mom sent me the link to your blog and I plan on checking it consistently to watch the progress of your babies.
You always have been so positive and that energy will benefit your babies in a big way. They need that energy from you.
Take care, Keep Smiling!

Hi Louie and Sarah:

Glad to know you're staying with family for awhile, it's sure to make it easier.

The babies seem to be growing right before our eyes. Soon they'll be home and keeping you up at night.

Uncle Rich can't wait to hold them on his lap and see if they do what Louie did when he was a baby.

You're all in our thoughts and prayers every day.

Love, Aunt Jane & Uncle Rich
