I've waited for months to share this news!
Last night Sarah called me at about 7pm, and she left this message on my voicemail...
"Gretch, we're driving back to New York... with all 3 babies!"
It sounds like everything unfolded pretty quickly, and the 2 girls were ready to go home earlier than planned. So, they packed up the bare necessities in Burlington and headed home.
They'll be coming back to Burlington this weekend to pick up the rest of their belongings and then settling in at home in NY. I miss them already!
Again, I just wanted to remind everyone that the doctors have stressed the importance of keeping visitors to a minimum especially during cold and flu season, and until these little ones build up their immune systems outside of the hospital. So, we just ask that you contact Sarah and Louie before making a trip to the house, and we know you'll all understand if they have to say no to having company for awhile.

Yeah for the fighting five I could literally jump up and down I am so happy for all of you. Don't tell but, Heather called me last night, I was so happy. Thanks for sharing with us this was a very special blog to follow everyday. Love Lorraine

yaaaaaay omg im lost for words cant believe that finally there all home together..im so happy for them all they can settle in and be home and cozy...its been great being able to get on here and see there progress and the pics amazing...cant wait to beable to go see them sarah and loui especailly miss them alot.

I am so very glad to read this news!!! There really are no words to describe my elation that everything has gone so well and that everyone is finally home! Enjoy the time at home...I am sure that everyone will understand the need for the limited visitors...better to be safe than sorry...there are so many things going around right now...(((HUGS)))
I have now held, fed, changed and loved everyone of my Beautiful Grandchildren! This has been the most scary yet one of the most blessed experiences of my life! Their pictures do not do them justice! Add their personalities to their pictures and you have Sarah and Louie at their finest! We are so fortunate to have them home..safe, healthy and happy.
